The process
Participants can also
- Improving your communication skills in English, so that you can get a job, or a better job or promotion in the area where you have knowledge and skills
- Giving new opportunities to identify what you need to do to improve your English grammar and vocabulary skills for life and work in Northern Ireland
- Helping you understand the job-hunting process, especially in Belfast and Northern Ireland.
The process
- Initial test and interview - To make sure that individuals are at an appropriate level of General English to benefit from the programme
- Induction– To introduce everyone to the programme (2 hours)
- Face-to-face sessions - To practise the language introduced and used in each unit. (2 hours per week)
Participants can also
- Complete a diagnostic grammar test that will help to identify areas where more help and practice is needed
- Use the Self Access Centre at BURC
- Network with others job-hunters in Belfast.
